PROMETHEUS is a Certification Body for Persons.

It was founded by the National Technical University of Athens, the largest technological university institution in Greece.

PROMETHEUS operates under the Association for the Exploitation and Management of the Assets of the National Technical University of Athens (EADIP-EMP).

The purpose of PROMETHEUS is to provide high quality services for the certification of knowledge, skills and competences of individuals.

In order to provide high quality services, PROMETHEUS applies a Quality Management System according to ISO/IEC 17024.

It shall have sole responsibility for the decision to issue a certificate for any natural person, which includes granting, maintaining, reissuing, extending or reducing the scope, suspending or revoking the relevant certificate.
